The German company Gustav Wahler GmbH u. Co. KG traces its history back to 1902. Founded by Gustav Wahler, the company initially specialized in the production of metal cutlery. The first thermostat for the automotive industry was not manufactured until 1920 and the first thermostat based on its own patent was manufactured in 1938.

Today, Wahler is Europe's oldest designer and manufacturer of thermostats of various designs, sensors and spigots for the automotive industry, headquartered in Esslingen. The company owns its own scientific and technical centers and several production plants located in Germany, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, USA and employs over 2 thousand people. Total annual sales volume of Wahler is more than 180 million euros.

The range of Wahler company covers the whole range of thermostats for passenger cars and trucks with the daily output of 20 thousand units.

Wahler products are delivered to the assembly lines of Audi, MB, BMW, VAG, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, PSA, GM, DAF, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, Daimler Chrysler, MAN, Ford, Opel, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Volkswagen, Nissan, Renault, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volvo and many other car manufacturers and only 10% to the secondary market. All products manufactured by Wahler are certified according to QS 9000, DIN EN ISO 9001, VDA 6.1, are subject to strict quality control: there is only one quality for conveyor deliveries and for the aftermarket - conveyor quality. The company owns a number of awards for quality from the leading automobile manufacturers.
