Mykola Mirkulov: How Trust with Clients Turns into Results
Mykola Mirkulov, a sales manager, became one of the fourth quarter employees who built trusting relationships with the First Business Partner. His success is not only in numbers, but in his approach to work: a sincere desire to help clients and find solutions when it seems that there are none.
Mykola says that for him the main thing is honest communication with the client. “The client has, sees that you are working for him, and not just fulfilling a plan. If there is trust, then business indicators also grow,” he says. This is how he worked with his partner, step by step increasing the level of partnership.
One of his main tasks was to introduce competitors' products to the client's shelves with his own products. Mykola visited the warehouse every month, checked the availability of goods and helped the client find the right positions. Often this meant looking for solutions where others did not see opportunities. “It was interesting when the client couldn’t find the part he needed, and I helped him find it. It’s not just work, it’s a little quest every time,” adds Mykola.
Another feature of his work is his attention to detail and consistency. He didn’t just check the leftovers, but also found errors in the spare parts selection system, adjusted the codes so that the products were displayed correctly. This allowed the client to find the products faster and without unnecessary problems, and the company to increase sales.
Despite his intensive work, Mykola will leave time for rest and hobbies. He loves active recreation: mountains, the sea, the Carpathians, fishing. A separate passion is cars: “I like to understand technology on my own, add functions that were not available from the factory. This is something for work: interesting and useful,” he shared.
Mykola also emphasizes the importance of the team: “I am inspired by my colleagues and managers. We discuss cases, look for solutions together. Without the team, such results would not have been possible.” For this job, it’s not just about sales, but about finding ways to help the client and make the process more efficient.
Becoming one of the best employees of the quarter, Mykola showed that success is not just about numbers, but about trust, perseverance, and a desire to develop with clients. And although he closed this quarter successfully, for him it’s just the start of new challenges and opportunities.
