When experience and a team create a memorable performance: the story of Rostislav Volovod
When a person devotes himself to one company for over a quarter of a century, it is no longer just a job - it is a part of life, a story intertwined with personal victories, challenges and discoveries. This is how Rostyslav Volodymyrovych talks about his journey at Omega // - a person for whom work has become not only a profession, but also an inspiration. For him, public speaking is not about formality, but about emotion, drive and team synergy. The story of the last speech on the BBC began long before going "on stage". Several online meetings, searching for ideas and improvisations, which were actually carefully planned.
The result is not just a book presentation, but a real mini-performance with the distribution of roles, dialogues and emotions that captivated the audience. Rostyslav Volodymyrovych became one of the best speakers on the BBC, but he did not take this as a goal, his motive was different: "I did not perceive it as a competition, I wanted to interest the audience. I want people to come out inspired even on Friday evening,” he shares. At the same time, he admits: there is always excitement, even after many years of experience. But it quickly passes when you manage to “catch your pace” and enjoy the process.
“The success of a performance is always teamwork. Omega // is not just colleagues, it is a community of like-minded people who support each other in any situations, with whom you can overcome difficulties and celebrate successes.”
Despite his busy schedule, he tries to keep a balance between the three components of life: work, family, and personal development. At different periods of his life, Rostyslav Volodymyrovych was involved in car racing, traveled on a motorcycle, and was fond of cooking. Today, his main passions remain work projects and time spent with his three sons.
“Every day, every stage is a part of my story. And I am proud that for 27 years I have been working in a team where mutual respect, team spirit and sincere emotions are valued.”
Rostyslav Volodymyrovych is an example of how dedication to the cause, sincere attitude towards colleagues and desire to develop can turn work into a real lifestyle. And if someone thinks that public speaking is a matter only for the brave, Rostyslav Volodymyrovych’s example proves: it is a matter for those who know how to share energy and believe in the team.
