Recently we have had a conversation with the chief engineer of LLC 'Agroproduct Logistik' Ilya Golovin on how our partners` business is developing during the war. We found their story as a motivating one - so we are pleased to share it with you.
Roman Denisenko, manager of the PR Department: It has been more than a year and a half since the all-out war started. Tell us, please, how were you able to adapt your business to new realities? Which positive or negative processes are you noticing in your field of activity on the whole, and what perspectives can you see for its development in the nearest future?
Ilya Golovin: Of course, this question is rather difficult: how to see a perspective for the future; it is hard, considering that we have the war today in our country. Everything is changing every day.
If we compare the work of pre-war period and at the present moment - there will be two huge differences. The situation in the market has somehow turned worse. Not all spare parts are available on the territory of Ukraine, and if there are available, then not by all suppliers. But for us, "transporting workers", waiting time, until we find a necessary car part and receive it, is just a waste of our profit, first of all. But it is a good thing that we still can find them, and we are thankful to our partners for that they, the same as we, continue to work and develop our economics.
Roman Denisenko: We know that your company is actively working on expansion these days, connected to your car parts selling activity. Tell us about your prior directions for now, please. What are you focusing on?
Ilya Golovin: As before, in general, we have two main directions of activity: transportation of cereal and food products. In particular, we transport dairy products for Danone.
Roman Denisenko: I would like to speak with you more about the services, which our company is constantly improving, for our clients to have an opportunity to receive necessary items fast and convenient. In particular, could you tell us, please, is it comfortable for you to use our program of automobile parts selection?
Ilya Golovin: You know, there are such people, who prefer to work on purchase of goods only with the help of such programs, I myself much prefer to work directly communicating with a manager. It is undoubtedly comfortable for me to use your program of selection. However, in case I have some questions or adjustments, I address your manager Rodion, who is always quick to respond to any of my requests.
And it is very important for me - such a quick response. This forms trust and will to cooperate with your company even more.
Roman Denisenko: What can you tell about our delivery service?
Ilya Golovin: When we are looking for necessary spare parts, it sometimes can happen that they are available only at your central warehouses. It would be great if Omega had much wider range of goods at regional warehouses, in particular, in Odessa. These days Odessa is, from my point of view, more "centralized" city, where all Ukrainian grain carriers are directed to, all drive through it.
I want to be honest with you: for me, it is necessary that, when my car breaks down, I can immediately repair it; and it is cost-less for me to wait until tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, as I need to have an instant opportunity to come to a warehouse, take a necessary spare part, and go on.
In general, if we take the delivery from Odessa regional warehouse of Omega and such services of delivery as "day-to-day" or "today-to-tomorrow", I can say that everything suits me. And as much wider the range of required goods will be particularly at the regional warehouse in Odessa, better it will be for us.
Roman Denisenko: Do you use our service of electronic document flow and how can you estimate its quality of work?
Ilya Golovin: Everything connected to exchange of different accounting documents we started doing in electronic form long ago. Omega electronic document flow is convenient, fast and reliable.
Roman Denisenko: Have you had cases of goods returns? How convenient is our service of returning for you?
Ilya Golovin: Returns of goods happen always, as I make mistakes sometimes, your managers make mistakes, or a car repair shop makes wrong description of a request. And Omega is one of the best suppliers in managing the question of effective and convenient goods return. Maybe, even the best one.
Roman Denisenko:I suggest we return to today`s realities. Omega regularly holds charitable fundraisings for the army needs, as we understand that our economical frontline could not exist without our primary one, and it requires our constant support. Tell us, please, do you do any volunteering, and how important is it for you?
Ilya Golovin:Yes, I agree with you: I personally do volunteering, as well as our company does it. We do this, because we love our country, and we wish all of us the Victory.
