We talked to Hontsa Volodymyr, a representative of BELOGVI LLC, who talked about daily challenges, the company's development, cooperation with partners, and how modern technologies make work easier in difficult conditions.
Tetyana: Good afternoon, Volodymyr! Thank you for agreeing to talk. Please tell us what you do at the company?
Volodymyr: I work as a supply manager. Or, more simply, an assistant to the purchasing director. I am responsible for providing automotive equipment, in particular dump trucks, with everything necessary. We service, repair, and support them during operation.
Tetyana: What are your current priority areas of work?
Volodymyr: The main area is road construction and maintenance. In peacetime, we built more, but during the war, new roads were almost not built, so the main emphasis now is maintenance. Our people are working on pothole repairs, snow removal in winter, grass mowing - everything that ensures the proper condition of the roads. We work in several regions: Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa. In addition, we are currently working on the restoration of settlements in the Kherson region. This is a full range of work: roads, houses, bridges. In fact, from scratch. This is a new experience for us, but very important.
Tetyana: What is your strategic vision for the development of the company in modern realities?
Volodymyr: The biggest challenge now is the war. There has been much less work, but we are not giving up. We continue to work in Ukraine, and at the same time we are opening new directions - we have two projects in Moldova and one in Romania. We are working on construction and infrastructure, trying new formats.
Tetyana: What can you say about our cooperation, what do you value in the interaction of our companies?
Volodymyr: We have been cooperating with Omega // since 2020. And I can say that the cooperation has paid off. What we value most is the savings in time and resources. If before our people went shopping, collected bills, spent a lot of time and fuel, now we do everything through the online system. I placed an order - and the next day it is in stock. It is much more convenient.
Tatyana: What services of our company do you consider the best and what should be improved?
Volodymyr: I like that in my personal account you can see all the necessary information - documents, reconciliation reports. But it is difficult for the team to get used to electronic document management. At first, everyone refuses, and then they understand the advantages: time savings, less paperwork, transparency. I think we will get used to it over time.
I would like a wider range. Especially - for hydraulics and spare parts for Chinese-made equipment. There are also sometimes delays in partner programs: instead of two days, it takes three or four. But in general, this is not critical and we are satisfied with the cooperation.
Tetyana: What can you say about our people? Who have you collaborated with?
Volodymyr: We are currently working with Vitaly Lototsky. We are very satisfied. He always helps if there are problems with the order or the system. If there are technical failures or some minor difficulties with orders, he always helps to quickly resolve the issue. This is very valuable.
Tetyana: Have you encountered any problems that our managers helped to solve?
Volodymyr: There were some minor moments in the work, but they were quickly resolved and did not have a significant impact on the cooperation. Sometimes there are failures in shipping or address delivery is required, but your manager promptly responds to our requests. In general, there were no significant problems.
Tetyana: What achievements of your company over the past year are you most proud of?
Volodymyr: First of all, the fact that we have survived and continue to work in such difficult conditions. Despite the loss of equipment and risks to people, we are participating in the restoration of settlements in the Kherson region, repairing bridges and roads, and creating defense structures for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is not just work - it is our contribution to the country. And for us it is a matter of pride: to be useful when the country needs it most.
