Interview with Petrov Yevhen, the first business partner of Omega //

We had the opportunity to talk to Petrov Yevhen, an entrepreneur and our first business partner, who went from the first orders to a stable partnership with Omega //.

We talked about business, trust, risks, and why humanity in business relationships is not a weakness, but a strength.

Tetyana: Hello, Yevhen! Thank you for taking the time to talk. Tell us what you do and what are your priority areas?

Yevhen: I have been an entrepreneur since 2018. The main area is auto parts. Our focus is on foreign cars, because they are easier to work with in terms of quality, logistics, and demand. But we don’t stop: we are constantly testing new categories to remain interesting to the market. In business, it is important not just to sell, but to be ahead of customer needs, and this is the main priority for us now.

Tetyana: What is your strategic vision for developing your own business, taking into account today's realities?

Yevhen: We live in today, but with an eye on tomorrow. Our main focus is on online sales - this is a reality that works even in the most difficult times. We have a small but close-knit team of four people, and everyone is in their place: we react quickly, adapt, and are not afraid of new formats. Plans for the future are to scale the online direction, with thoughtful service. We want the client to receive not just a product, but convenience and trust from the first click.

Physical points are not a priority now - the world has changed, and I see more sense in investing in a digital presence, because the future is speed and flexibility.

Tetyana: What can you say about our cooperation and service, what do you value in our interaction?

Yevgen: We focus on quality goods, which is why we like working with Omega // – it helps us avoid shortages and returns, and our customers always receive a reliable product. It is important for us to have fewer random buyers, more regular customers.

Omega //’s communication and service are at the highest level. Even during the crisis period, when the war began, your company was accommodating and allowed us to distribute financial obligations gradually, which was crucial for further work. This helped stabilize the business in the most difficult months. I am grateful that Omega // then did not just “fulfill the terms of the contract”, but showed humanity.

Such moments form real trust. Because partnership is not only about invoices and deliveries. It is about support when it is really needed.

Tatyana: What should we pay attention to, where can we improve our work?

Yevgen: In fact, it is very difficult to single out something. Perhaps shipments could be made by six in the evening, but this is a trifle. In general, everything is fine: communication, speed, approach. I see that the company is constantly developing - and this is the main thing. Everything is in its place, and I, as a partner, appreciate it.

Tetyana: What can you say about our people? Who have you collaborated with?

Yevgen: Communication with Omega // is an example of service. Redchenko Bohdan - always solves the issue, even when I am busy, copes with all difficult situations, for example, when there is a return or parts are needed. All this indicates reliability and professionalism. Questions are not postponed, money does not hang around, and this is probably what I appreciate Omega // for the most.

Tetyana: Have you encountered any problems that our managers helped to solve?

Yevgen: In fact, there were no serious problems. But, as in any business, there are minor situations - for example, when a client returns goods in damaged packaging. But your managers always approach constructively, without delays and formalities. I see that the company cares not only about sales, but also about relationships. And this is very important - because such support creates trust.

Tetyana: In business, there is always a question: what to invest in - in people, technology or a brand? And is it worth taking risks when you don’t know how it will all end?

Yevgeny: To be honest - without risk, business is dead. I’m not afraid to try, I only invest my own money - sometimes I win, sometimes I don’t, but that’s part of the game. But what definitely doesn’t fail is the brand. If the brand is strong, people go to it themselves. This is stability, trust, recognition. Investing in a brand is like a foundation: if it is strong, the rest will withstand any storm.

Tetyana: What achievements over the past year can you, as an entrepreneur, be most proud of?

Yevgeny: I’m most proud of the fact that we didn’t give up. Despite all the challenges, we kept the business going, we were able to maintain the pace, improve processes and increase online sales.

In addition, we almost completely switched to brand positions - and this gave a tangible result. Clients began to trust us more, return, and recommend us to others. For me, this is the best assessment of our work.

Tatyana: Evgeny, thank you very much for the frank and inspiring conversation. It is nice to see when an entrepreneur does not just run a business, but thinks strategically, with faith in development and people around him. I wish you new victories, bold decisions and constant drive in everything you do.
