Omega // recently held an unusual internal sabbatical — employees did not take up digital hygiene. While someone was cleaning out their closets at home on the weekend, Omega employees cleaned out their electronic spaces — and it turned out that there was enough clutter there too.
The digital garbage included a lot:
• e-mail with letters from 2021,
• desktops filled with icons,
• screenshots “for memory”, memes “for later”, documents “just in case”.
All of this was organized, archived or deleted. As a result, employees received not only clean gadgets, but also a pleasant feeling of control and ease. Some even took “before” and “after” photos to record their progress.
