After the large-scale invasion of Russian into Ukraine certain significant changes happened to all business-spheres, including working of car repair shops.
Yuriy, tell us, please: were you straight away at that moment able to make a plan of actions to restore and hold your business in such a complicated situation? How quickly did you manage to adapt to new conditions?
At that time (in February 2022) all thoughts were turning over in the head, but all possible variants of actions were carefully worked through. Of course, we had different points of view, but the main decision was made with cool head. The main point and goal both then and now are that you live in Ukraine, you stand for it and you have to do everything for your country to stay free. We clearly understood that, first of all, we had to help the Army Forces, to help out country restoring its activity, and for all of these we had to do our job at high-quality level. A certain period of time it was truly difficult, as some people had moved to other parts of Ukraine, mainly, they were our repairmen. Some people had joined army to protect our freedom. Surely, in such a situation we needed some time to fully restore our Na Drive car repair shop activity. But, you know, the thought "to go away or to stay" we did not have at all, it came by.
If we compare the working of your NA Drive car repair shop before the war and now: how much did changes influence you and how far were you able to restore your business?
If we are talking about the company situation now, the positions have restored almost 99 per cent. And this is considering the fact that we have added new directions of activity, and, correspondingly, we have new positions and new people. To be honest, despite the complicated situation in the country, we have realized almost in full the plan for development of our business, made back in 2021. Of course, on the 24th of February 2022 we temporarily stopped all our attempts to further development: facilities building, new stations launching, etc. But then we decided to move forward and realize all planned.
It is very pleasant to hear that you have not stopped and have continued the development of your business even in such exceptionally challenging conditions as today`s. Our company does constantly develop our services too. Even during the war we do not stop – we launch new services to make cooperation with clients more easygoing, understandable and comfortable. Tell us, please: how well can you feel these positive changes for yourself? How do you use our services and how do they help to develop your business?
I want to say straight away that Omega delivery service has become better. It also has become possible to settle some issue points much faster. The quality of communication and service from the drivers` side has turned out to be better too. I thank you that for doing us a favour and increasing the number of automobile parts deliveries from logistics complex in Kyiv and regional warehouse in Zhytomyr.
However, for example, Omega goods catalogue in selection program needs simplification for more convenient using. In my opinion, it is necessary to reduce the amount of steps for shipping a necessary order, without any extra registrations. With the help of one button and minimal amount of time I need to be able to order a necessary article.
I would also recommend to expand the range of goods for regional warehouses to have an opportunity for buying from Omega relatively 3 filters for automobile at the same time: air, oil and fuel, without searching for any of them through another supplier. It would probably be useful to create a range of the most required spare parts for automobile running gears, which are currently present on the market. I understand, it is not an easy task to do, but I know that it would greatly help us, your company regular clients, to receive all necessary automobile parts fast and right at one place.

We will take into account all your suggestions and proposals to improve our program of selection and to simplify and automate all possible processes in order to minimize your time losing for ordering and receiving all necessary automobile parts.

At the beginning of 2022, you were presented with a reward from Omega Director General for sharing with us your creative view on sales manager image. What can you tell us about the sales manager of Omega, whom you cooperate with? How well does he suit your view?
Andriy and I communicate in absolutely normal way. When I need to solve a kind of problem - he is always here to help. I am absolutely in comfort working with him - 1000 per cent.
Yuriy, it would be great to talk a little bit about charity. Today Omega actively takes part, together with our partners, in helping the army, providing cars and holding regular crowdfundings for army needs. I know, you and your team also do a lot of volunteering. Can you, please, tell us more about it?
Yes, we really do volunteering work, and we even have a reward from the Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov: the reward and a medal for supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
But we do not show it off. However, of course, it is pleasant we have been rewarded. We do our volunteering work sincerely: supporting some units and people, who are now fighting among the Armed Forces.
And the last thing, Yuriy, tell us, please, which of your personal or of your team achievements for the last year make you proud?
You know, there really are some things we are proud of. For the last year we have built new facilities for more 5 stations of our car repair shop. This is truly a big achievement for my team, and we have headed for it for a long time, laying out patience and finances. But we did it! We did expand. And this is a top achievement!
