Kotelevets Vladyslav

Star speaker

Don't be afraid and be yourself: the story of Vlad Kotelevets - about fearless performances, the strength of the team and the warmth of the family

Fear of public speaking accompanies almost everyone. But there are people who have learned not only to overcome it — but even to enjoy speaking. One of them is Vlad, who used to be nervous himself, as if before an exam. Today he confidently speaks at the BBC — internal meetings where we discuss books, share our own interpretations and inspire each other to develop. “A simple realization helped me: you don’t have to try to be perfect. You don’t have to look “like a speaker”, the main thing is to be sincere. Imagine that you are simply telling something to your friends — then the fear goes away. And most importantly — remember: everyone is their own here. Colleagues don’t wait for your mistake, they support you. There is real synergy in our team,” he says.

Vlad talks about speaking as an opportunity to share what is important and convey what is valuable.

Vlad is a family man and it is his family that helps him balance his busy work rhythm, recharge himself and not lose touch with himself.

“When people are waiting for you at home, it’s a completely different feeling. You’re not just working, you’re working with an inner meaning,” he says.

Vlad is an example of how to successfully find harmony in your work and personal life. Don’t be afraid to be yourself. And even if your heart beats a little faster before a performance, go out and say what’s important. Because there’s a team nearby. And at home, there are those for whom you want to be better every day.
