Not sales, but trust: how experienced manager Igor Butnyk works with clients
There are people who hold not only processes, but also the atmosphere. These are employees whose sincerity, responsibility and professionalism shape the brand’s reputation no worse than advertising campaigns.
Igor Butnyk is one of those employees on whom work with clients is based. He has been working in the company for 9 years, having worked his way from the CIS department to the corporate segment, and now he is engaged in the selection of auto parts for foreign cars. Igor became one of those employees who received the largest number of thanks from clients for the 3rd quarter of 2025. His experience is not just experience, but thousands of stories about trust, understanding and solving difficult situations. He is not one of those who looks for reasons for complaints. Instead, his view is focused on how to make the work better.
Igor works in a department that he calls friendly and close-knit. “I like everything completely, both the team and the manager. All the guys are great. Like a family, we help each other, we don’t leave anyone in trouble.” He notes that mutual assistance and knowledge exchange reign in the team, especially when new people join the team.
Igor motivates to help clients: “First of all, to help clients and make sales,” he says. The financial factor is, of course, important, but it is not the main driver. Igor admits that in difficult situations in the company, it is important to have patience and faith in the future. Many clients have been working with Igor for many years, and such a level of mutual understanding has already been achieved that a few words in a letter or message are enough to understand the needs. “The first place is understanding. Understanding what clients need,” says Igor. But another important principle is honesty. He managed to build relationships based on trust. “There are clients who are waiting for me, even if I am on vacation or sick leave. They are used to us understanding each other.”
As an experienced manager, Igor no longer experiences the same emotions as he did at the beginning of his career. “I used to take everything to heart. Now I have become calmer, although sometimes I still experience them inside.” In difficult situations, when, for example, the wrong part arrived, he does not look for the guilty, but looks for a solution together with the client: he checks, clarifies, helps to find the right spare part.
Most regular clients, even after failures, continue cooperation. “Those who have not worked with us for the first time understand everything perfectly.”
In his free time, Igor prefers auto mechanics - racing, tuning. “Now there is less time, but the interest remains. I dream of restoring a car,” says Igor. He also appreciates meeting friends and colleagues in person after work. “Work is work, and communication is communication. It is important to have a balance.” Igor Butnyk is an example of a professional who builds his work on trust, understanding, and dedication. His story reminds us that even in routine processes, you can find meaning, and in difficult situations, you can remain human. And it is precisely such people who create the same "internal kitchen" of the company, where clients return again and again - not only because of the quality of services, but also because of mutual respect and trust.
